I awoke to a grey sky and moaned. Another day trying to get stupid electronics to power up for the capitol. I take a shaky step on the cold wooden floor and pull on a white shirt, a dark green dress shirt that i rolled up to my elbows and jean shorts that went to my knees. I sighed and walked down to the factory. A peace keeper gave me a helmet and gloves. Thats all the protection they give us.
Can i tell you how many people have been electrocuted in district 5? way too many. It's because of our careless peace keepers! I slipped on the gloves and secured the helmet in place. I went to the first Factory belt i saw. It was simple. Popping batteries into everything that came your way.
 
After 5 hours of doing this everyone my age checked out of working. I had been working in the factory since age 11, it was mandatory. when i was 11 i worked for 1 hour each day, 12 years old 2 hours, 13, 3 hours, and on. I have hated it for as long as i could remember. As i dropped my gloves in one bin and my helmet in the other a boy, Rixon, came up to me. He was pretty strong and tall for a 15 year old. He rubbed all of the blackness out of his blonde hair "Hey" He said. i just looked at him and left to my small village of district 5.
